What Sephora says

What this product is supposed to do

A mini 2-in-1 makeup remover-cleanser for the delicious deep clean you deserve: Its creamy lather removes dirt, oil, and longwear makeup—no stripping.

NormalDryCombinationOilyPoresOiliness

Use day and night. Wet skin, lather, rinse, pat dry. Follow with Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum (sold separately).

Twist and squeeze to use: Twist the cap to the right, turn over and squeeze. Twist again to close.

Recycling Instructions: When you’re done, cut open the tube, scoop out (and use!) the last of the goop, then rinse the tube. Then, separate the cap and the tube and recycle both.

What Glass adds

What actually matters before you buy it

A solid choice for a first cleanse, especially for those who wear makeup daily and want an effective, no-fuss option. It performs its primary job well, but don't expect it to be a multi-tasking treatment serum.

Effectiveness for Makeup Removal

Many users praise its ability to remove longwear makeup and SPF without excessive rubbing or a second cleanse.

Gentle Yet Effective

While effective, it's generally considered gentle enough for daily use, though some with very dry skin might find it slightly drying.

Why it works

Where it earns the slot and where it does not

  • Effective makeup removal
  • Removes oil and dirt
  • Convenient 2-in-1 formula
  • Vegan and oil-free

Where it starts to feel redundant

  • Can feel slightly stripping for some
  • Lacks significant treatment benefits
  • Fragrance may be a concern for sensitive skin
